Craft Pita x Eunice Dinner
Chef Rafael Nasr of Craft Pita and Chef Drake Leonards of Eunice are teaming up for a special one-day collaboration pop-up dinner on Sunday, November 3, celebrating Lebanese and Cajun culture. The two talented chefs are serving a ticketed coursed dinner at Eunice. The menu is meant to highlight how both Cajun and Lebanese cultures are heavily influenced by food and family. Many Lebanese have also settled in Cajun Country and have embraced Cajun cuisine due to both cultures having a French influence.
The coursed dinner includes a welcome cocktail, along with wine pairing. The first course will be a mezze course featuring Brown Butter Crab Hummus, Fattoush Salad, Boudin Stuffed Grape Leaves, pickles, and pita bread. The entree course consists of a Branzino with Red Shrimp topped with a tahini jalapeño pecan sauce and a Jambalaya-inspired Lebanese Chicken and Rice. For dessert the two chefs are serving a Baklava Bread Pudding.
Tickets for the dinner, which includes all food and drinks, start at $125. The dinner will start at 5 p.m. A portion of proceeds for the dinner are going towards Sky High Houston.
